Emerging designer Rian Yesufu presents its swimwear collection the “Butterfly”. This collection is all about combining African fashion with modern trends. Featuring sexy cut-outs, the collection has models striking sultry poses with the ankara pieces.

The collection is set to go on sale from Sunday 1st June 2014.

Ella & Gabby Collection at MTN LFDW 2013.

The Ella & Gabby collection showcased at the 2013 GTBank LFDW was a continuation of her very much loved Autumn/Winter 2013 collection “Tropical Sophistication“. The pieces came in universal and vibrant colours ranging from black, green, tan, green, pink and red as well as the brands signature Ankara print and beading & embellishments. The runway showcase saw simple and chic dresses as well as other separates consisting of trousers, skirts and tops all beautifully crafted to suit today’s modern and fashionable woman who is no afraid to be the centre of attention.

Christie Brown: Dure

Christie Brown is a Ghanaian based luxury women’s fashion brand that aims to satisfy the stylish urge of “that modern woman who seeks a true taste of Africa”.  Christie Brown’s  new lookbook is titled Dure, the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection is a breath of fresh air as the designer gently moves away from the very bold “African Prints” textiles to more ravishing print designs. This season she plays on the strength of structured silhouette with femininity in color and detail choice.
