Scandal star Kerry Washington attended the 2013 Teen Choice Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California yesterday Sunday 11th August 2013.
The 36 year old Hollywood actress looked stunning in a pink long sleeve dress from Stella McCartney’s Resort 2014 collection.
Kerry styled the mini dress which features embellishments as well as heart and lipstick details, with a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.
Wavy locks and Lancome make-up completed the look.
Hmm… We wonder what her husband Nnamdi Asomugha thinks of the look

Summer is never complete without an editorial fashion shoot in Africa, I recently stumbled across an editorial Photo Shoot For Go Style Magazine captured by FashionTV titled ‘Africa is Here“. The shapes, the colours & the composotion are all beautiful, I know some people would appreciate the shoot better if there were black models included, but never mind this shoot is gorgeous. Amazingly stunning maxi mermaid skirt in the third image is just divine alongside the vibrant African print shorts with the head ties are my favourites. Wonderful photography choices and styling!

Koshie O is a clothing brand that integrates African themes and aesthetics with modern designs. The fashion line blends an African focus on luxuriant fabric and earthy symbolism with more fluid and practical modern designs required by a contemporary lifestyle.
There are three pieces in this design that were designed by R&B singer Mya, Model Eva Marcille and Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams. The Genesis Collection is very edgy, chic and the prints are ready. Check out the full collection below and tell us which look is your favorite.
Few people reading this post were born before the 70’s, especially when the Biafra war took place. But this does not stop us from appreciating how far Nigerians have come in defining our sense of fashion and style.
Fortunately, the recent adaptation of Chimamanda Adichie’s novel; Half of a Yellow Sun into a movie provides us insight on how people defined fashion and style those days.
